Corrections and supplier requests
When you submit a request, we collect the request type, selected branch, message, any name, company and email you provide, your permission to review it, and a submission time and reference number. Name and company are optional. Email is optional except for supplier enquiries, where we need a way to follow up.
We use this information to review your request, check business details and respond where contact information is available. Requests are stored privately in Supabase and are accessible to authorized site operators and the service providers needed to process them. They are not publicly readable or automatically posted to a listing.
We may publish corrected business information after review. Your private message and personal contact details are not published as part of that process. Please do not send passwords, payment information or private customer details.
How long requests are kept
Submission records are deleted in a daily cleanup after they are more than 90 days old. Copies in service-provider backups may remain under those providers’ backup-retention policies. A reviewed correction may remain in the public directory as business information.
To ask about, correct or request removal of your submission, contact Supply Spool and include its reference number if you have it. Provide an email if you want a reply; we may need enough information to establish that the request is yours.
Search and location
Search terms and selected filters appear in the page URL. If you choose “Near me” and allow your browser to share your location, coordinates are used to find nearby branches and appear in the search URL. Share that URL only if you are comfortable sharing the location it contains.
If you explicitly request an AI search suggestion, your search text is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to suggest directory filters. Ordinary search does not make that AI request. Avoid putting personal or confidential information in search questions.
Hosting, maps and analytics
Cloudflare hosts this website, and Supabase processes contact requests. These services may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver the service and prevent abuse. Interactive maps request map resources from OpenFreeMap. Directions and supplier website links take you to external services with their own privacy practices.
We have not added advertising trackers or a browser-based visitor analytics script. Cloudflare may provide aggregate traffic and security metrics from requests to this site. Hosting, security and map providers also process the technical information needed for their services.
